so Englands first game in the Cricket World Cup didn’t exactly go as we would of hoped… Anyone who has regularly watched England will not be surprised by a small batting collapse at precisely the wrong moment, and in the end an extremely good last stand was the only thing that got us over 200. The bowling attack started ok, but was a little too expensive, and in the end New Zealand simply did not have to take enough risks to reach 210 to give us enough opportunity to pick up more wickets.
